Profile Bio Character Limits Before Updating Accounts

A profile bio looks simple until it is pasted into five different account settings. Each field may cut text differently, so check the length before updating public profiles.

Use the Character Counter for tight bio fields, the Word Counter for longer author notes and Remove Extra Spaces when copied text has hidden spacing.

Start with the shortest field

Write the version that fits the strictest profile first. It is easier to expand a short bio than to keep repairing a long one that gets cut in different places.

Keep one approved version

Save the final bio in a shared note with the character count beside it. That makes future profile updates consistent.

Check line breaks and spacing

Many profile fields collapse line breaks or remove formatting. Preview the final text as plain text before publishing it.
