SEO Launch Checklist for Small Websites

A small website launch does not need a huge SEO process, but it does need a clean checklist. The goal is to catch basic technical mistakes before search engines and users find them.

Use the Meta Tag Generator, Robots.txt Generator, Canonical Tag Generator and Hreflang Tag Generator to prepare the parts you need.

Before publishing

Check every important page has a clear title, useful meta description and final URL slug. Avoid placeholder titles and temporary paths that will need redirects later.

Before indexing

Confirm the site is not blocked by robots.txt, noindex tags or staging settings. Check that canonical URLs point to final public pages.

After launch

Open the sitemap, test a few important URLs, and check multilingual alternates if the site has more than one language. Document redirects immediately while the launch is still fresh.
