Supplier spreadsheets often contain product titles that were written for internal catalogs, not for customers. They may include all-caps names, repeated brand terms, inconsistent separators, duplicate attributes and hidden spaces.
Use Title Case Converter, Remove Extra Spaces, Remove Duplicate Words, Character Counter and Lines to Comma while cleaning batches of product text.
Separate useful attributes from noise
Keep model number, size, color, material and quantity when they help buyers choose. Remove internal warehouse codes, repeated brand names and supplier-only abbreviations unless your store needs them.
Use consistent separators
Choose one pattern for titles, such as brand, product type, key attribute and variant. Mixed dashes, slashes, commas and parentheses make a catalog feel unstructured.
Check character length before upload
Marketplaces, feeds and ad platforms may truncate long product titles. Count after cleanup and shorten repeated terms first, not useful product details.
Clean in columns, not only row by row
If a repeated problem appears in hundreds of titles, fix that pattern before editing individual rows. This keeps the whole catalog more consistent.
